Santa Anita Park is a thoroughbred racetrack in Arcadia.  Often referred to as “the world’s most beautiful race track”, it has hosted The Breeder’s Cup and is home to the Santa Anita Derby and the Santa Anita Handicap

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a 127-acre botanical garden consisting of a variety of gardens including Aquatic Gardens, Celebration Garden, Garden for All Seasons, Grace V. Kallam Perennial Garden, Herb Garden, Rainbow Serpent Garden, Meadowbrook Garden, Rose Garden, Tropical Greenhouse and Water Conservation Garden.

Historic structures include The Queen Anne Cottage, the Coach Barn, the Santa Anita Depot and the Adobe.

Wilderness Park islocated in the San Gabriel Mountains at the top of Highland Oaks Drive. It has a nature center, hiking trails, picnic areas, waterfall and a pond.

Santa Anita Train Depot Tour:

This abandoned train station has been restored and refurbished with period housewares and equipment

Guided tours of the Santa Anita Depot are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and every Sunday 1-4 p.m.
